Hugh Lynch vs Walid Van der Borghereye

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Royal Albert Hall, London,  taking place on 15/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Western Europe Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hugh Lynch (18(9) - 3) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Walid Van der Borghereye(14 - 3(1)) from Utrecht, Netherlands.  Lynch weighed in at 229 pounds and 4 ounces, while Van der Borghereye weighed in at 247 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bradley MacIver, and the three ringside judges are Bryan Darrow, Dominic Ready and Gus Litts.
