Jose Tristan vs Angel Montijo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Argentina-San Juan promoted show at Xabat Tavera Gym, San Juan,  taking place on 12/07/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Argentina-San Juan Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Tristan (12 - 8 - 3) who hails from San Juan, Argentina and Angel Montijo(14 - 3 - 1) from San Juan, Argentina.  Both Tristan and Montijo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Robaina, and the three ringside judges are Cris Lugar, Angel Bracero and Alejandro Lucido.  

Round 1: 

Tristan is on target with a cross.
