Kazim Khalilov vs Elchin Wahba

Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Baku Mona, Baku,  taking place on 14/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kazim Khalilov (12 - 9(1) - 1) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Elchin Wahba(9 - 9 - 5) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Khalilov weighed in at 174 pounds and 13 ounces, while Wahba weighed in at 174 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mammad Akbarov, and the three ringside judges are Bashir Amirbeyov, Alesger Aslanov and Khamis Gadjibabayev.  

Round 1: 

Wahba gets on the inside.  Khalilov lands a left hook.
