Hideki Yamakawa vs Fumio Shimomura

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Saitama promoted show at Ace Boxing Gym, Saitama,  taking place on 14/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Saitama Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hideki Yamakawa (12 - 1(1)) who hails from Saitama, Japan and Fumio Shimomura(8 - 2(1) - 1) from Tokorozawa, Japan.  Yamakawa weighed in at 199 pounds and 5 ounces, while Shimomura weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasushi Ikeda, and the three ringside judges are Hikaru Masaki, Yuichi Mihara and Hiroki Noda.
