Rio Alexandre vs Jerrold Zarco

Boxing Daily Report from the Nyauza Promotions promoted show at Salvador Noronha, Salvador,  taking place on 15/07/2026:

Clearly Nyauza Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Bahia Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rio Alexandre (15 - 7) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Jerrold Zarco(3 - 17 - 2) from Salvador, Brazil.  Both Alexandre and Zarco weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Venacio Amparo, and the three ringside judges are Rogelio Coutinho, Ryo Parada and Fraco Ruelas.  

Round 1: 

Alexandre lands a cross.
