Chase Komgang vs Algernon Oliphant

Boxing Daily Report from the Afrifa Promotions promoted show at Yaoundé Dombasle, Yaoundé,  taking place on 13/07/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cameroon-Centre Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chase Komgang (8 - 8 - 2) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Algernon Oliphant(12 - 10 - 3) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  Komgang weighed in at 107 pounds and 15 ounces, while Oliphant weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adalard Njanke, and the three ringside judges are Briant Ahidjo, Briar Meiffret and Leggett Oliphant.
