Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Walter Pyramid, Long Beach,  taking place on 04/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Ace Spade (19(2) - 0) who hails from Bakersfield, USA and Verity Oliphant(14 - 6(3)) from Brussels, Belgium.  Both Spade and Oliphant weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Maxton, and the three ringside judges are Ian Darling, John Rhydderch and James Ruan.
