Ingmar Jespersen vs Eevert Verkko

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Kupittaan j��halli, Turku,  taking place on 01/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Nordic Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Yle TV2, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ingmar Jespersen (13 - 3 - 1) who hails from Roskilde, Denmark and Eevert Verkko(17 - 5(4) - 2) from Turku, Finland.  Jespersen weighed in at 130 pounds, while Verkko weighed in at 129 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Heikki Laitinen, and the three ringside judges are Gideon Laitinen, Tapani Jokelainen and Panu Peltola.
