Michael Voils vs Romain Sosno

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Alberta promoted show at Calgary Ruxton, Calgary,  taking place on 16/07/2026:

Clearly AI Canada-Alberta have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Voils (6 - 6 - 4) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Romain Sosno(3 - 12(1) - 2) from Edmonton, Canada.  Voils weighed in at 112 pounds, while Sosno weighed in at 111 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Charles Wardrop, and the three ringside judges are Robert Methvin, Chris Bach and Tyson Bart.
