Pedro Melgarejo vs Gig Torres

Boxing Daily Report from the Delle Promotions promoted show at Xavion Pardo Gym, Soledad,  taking place on 16/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Atlantico Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pedro Melgarejo (14(1) - 3) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Gig Torres(16 - 8 - 4) from Soledad, Colombia.  Both Melgarejo and Torres weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reyes Puma, and the three ringside judges are Fraco Manzano, Leonel Vasquez and Porfio Camarena.
