Koenraad Biechler vs Percival Binya

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Royal Arena, Copenhagen,  taking place on 29/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the IRBF Intercontinental Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV 2 Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Koenraad Biechler (20(15) - 3) who hails from Karlsruhe, Germany and Percival Binya(15 - 9(6) - 2) from Bamenda, Cameroon.  Both Biechler and Binya weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Viljo Salmonsen, and the three ringside judges are Kolby Binger, Thorin Brauner and Viggo Andreassen.  

Round 1: 

Biechler steps away from his opponent.  Binya lands a ramrod jab.  
Binya attempts to land a cross, but Biechler slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Binya's ribs.  
Binya steps inside.  Biechler slams a big left hook into his opponents ribs.  BINYA IS HURT!  Binya almost instantly recovers.

He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Binya has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Binya steps inside and manouvers Biechler onto the ropes.  Biechler attempts to land a right hook, but Binya sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Biechler lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Binya sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Biechler lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Biechler holds on to his opponent.  Binya pushes his forearm into Biechler's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Binya pivots to the right of his opponent.  Biechler digs in a solid right hook to Binya's body.
