Mehman Shahidi vs Marlen Ahmedov

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 25/07/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Asia-Oceania Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mehman Shahidi (18(5) - 6(3)) who hails from Bokhtar, Tajikistan and Marlen Ahmedov(15(6) - 7(6) - 1) from Kulob, Tajikistan.  Shahidi weighed in at 130 pounds, while Ahmedov weighed in at 129 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Naoki Morita, and the three ringside judges are Nori Tamanaha, Hisao Yamane and Naoki Morita.
