Tavarius Nimoh vs Polo Kugblenu

Boxing Daily Report from the Busia Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Kugblenu, Kumasi,  taking place on 20/07/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tavarius Nimoh (9 - 7 - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Polo Kugblenu(14(5) - 4 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Nimoh weighed in at 129 pounds And 15 ounces, while Kugblenu weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Farhan Sahli, and the three ringside judges are Paul Kwakye, Malcolm Habe and Rob Adjei.  

Round 1: 

Kugblenu advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Kugblenu clinches his opponent.  Kugblenu leans on his opponent using all his weight. Kugblenu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kugblenu about fouling.
