Chris Agbeko vs Azam Kaber

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Donkor, Kumasi,  taking place on 20/07/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Agbeko (15 - 4 - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Azam Kaber(13 - 3 - 1) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Agbeko weighed in at 134 pounds And 6 ounces, while Kaber weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vincent Lamptey, and the three ringside judges are Andy Salawu, Louis Nkrumah and Nabulung Ayew.
