Martell Gergen vs Emst Manthey

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Lower Saxony promoted show at Hanover Danneman, Hanover,  taking place on 20/07/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Lower Saxony Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SPORT1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Martell Gergen (17 - 2) who hails from Braunschweig, Germany and Emst Manthey(9 - 3) from Hanover, Germany.  Both Gergen and Manthey weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lodovico Johnsen, and the three ringside judges are Jaye Dehner, Ivo Giedd and Burk Alberding.
