Dave Sekyi vs Dave Dewornu

Boxing Daily Report from the Busia Promotions promoted show at Mashawn Cobbina Gym, Kumasi,  taking place on 20/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Sekyi (12 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Dave Dewornu(14 - 6) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Sekyi weighed in at 129 pounds and 13 ounces, while Dewornu weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Acquah, and the three ringside judges are Tamarius Ankomah, Ibrahim Siddiqi and Brad Kyei.  

Round 1: 

Dewornu connects with a left hook.
