Phil Padon vs Ian Caird

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Saint Catherine promoted show at Mick Aikman Gym, Portmore,  taking place on 22/06/2026:

Clearly AI Jamaica-Saint Catherine have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Jamaica-Saint Catherine Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Phil Padon (1 - 10) who hails from Portmore, Jamaica and Ian Caird(7 - 0) from Portmore, Jamaica.  Both Padon and Caird weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shaun Mickle, and the three ringside judges are Elliot Nist, Gregor Bivin and Gregor Bivin.  

Round 1: 

Caird gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Caird digs in a left uppercut to Padon's liver.  
Caird lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.
