Satoru Shoda vs Shin Matsunaga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Kenji Oyama Gym, Takarazuka,  taking place on 22/06/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Hyogo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hyogo Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Satoru Shoda (3 - 3 - 1) who hails from Kobe, Japan and Shin Matsunaga(2 - 4 - 3) from Himeji, Japan.  Both Shoda and Matsunaga weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisoka Iida, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Miyamoto, Iwao Okazaki and Satoshi Abe.  

Round 1: 

Matsunaga closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Shoda on the ropes.  Shoda hits home with a right uppercut.
