Paulo Nhlapo vs Mike Nguaku

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Soweto Holomisa, Soweto,  taking place on 19/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paulo Nhlapo (9 - 6 - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Mike Nguaku(12 - 11 - 1) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Both Nhlapo and Nguaku weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Oosthuizen, and the three ringside judges are Colin Ntambwe, Isaac Chohan and Colin Ntambwe.  

Round 1: 

Nguaku lands a cross.
