Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Maharashtra promoted show at Mumbai Aziz, Mumbai,  taking place on 22/07/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the India-Maharashtra Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rashid Sajjad (9 - 0 - 1) who hails from Mumbai, India and Asif Abdo(10 - 1) from Mumbai, India.  Both Sajjad and Abdo weighed in at 140 pounds.
