Yoshi Obara vs Naoki Sasaki

Boxing Daily Report from the Sam Promotions promoted show at Takeshi Oda Gym, Fukuoka,  taking place on 20/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yoshi Obara (7 - 9 - 2) who hails from Kurume, Japan and Naoki Sasaki(15 - 3 - 2) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Obara weighed in at 146 pounds And 13 ounces, while Sasaki weighed in at 146 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Takeshi Murayama, and the three ringside judges are Daichi Okabe, Kazuki Shimoda and Aki Nishimoto.
