Jun Kamiya vs Akira Imai

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Eiji Shimomura Gym, Yokosuka,  taking place on 20/07/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Kanagawa Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jun Kamiya (11 - 6(1) - 2) who hails from Kawasaki, Japan and Akira Imai(3 - 17 - 1) from Fujisawa, Japan.  Both Kamiya and Imai weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hajime Oh, and the three ringside judges are Daiki Takayama, Takeshi Murakami and Satoshi Miyasaki.
