Balder Thorner vs Thurston Wollen

Boxing Daily Report from the Valhalla promotions promoted show at Ullernbanen, Oslo,  taking place on 11/07/2026:

Clearly Valhalla promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Balder Thorner (3(1) - 0) who hails from Gothenburg, Sweden and Thurston Wollen(0 - 1) from Oslo, Norway.  Both Thorner and Wollen weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Turpin Bergland, and the three ringside judges are Ragnar Mehle, Kirk Gaarder and Sigurd Myhr.  

Round 1:

Thorner throws a left hook, but is off-target.  Thorner ties up his opponent.  Thorner leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Wollen advances into close range.  Thorner hits home with a solid right hook.  
Thorner tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.

He then lands a cross, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS WOLLEN DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  
Thorner switches the action to the outside.  Thorner lands a hurtful cross.  DOWN GOES WOLLEN!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Thorner!
