Roger Mow vs Ashley Burns

Boxing Daily Report from the TooOldToParty promoted show at Newcastle Entertainment Centre, Newcastle,  taking place on 20/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Australia-New South Wales Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Roger Pow Pow Mow (13(3) - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Ashley Burns(9 - 3 - 3) from Sydney, Australia.  Mow weighed in at 147 pounds, while Burns weighed in at 146 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ethan Capelli, and the three ringside judges are Sid Galkin, Aaron Hepburn and Jordan Duane.  

Round 1:

Mow closes the distance.  Mow sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mow drives a left uppercut into Burns's body.  
Mow lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, KNOCKING BURNS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.
