Robert Bullion vs Jonathan Lightbody

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 22/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Robert Bullion (13 - 1 - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Jonathan Lightbody(16 - 1) from North Shore, New Zealand.  Bullion weighed in at 129 pounds and 7 ounces, while Lightbody weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Higgins, and the three ringside judges are Brendan Moultrie, Charlie Cacciari and Sammy Feamster.
