Yobachi Kaptich vs Kadeem Kones

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Nairobi Merande, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yobachi Kaptich (11 - 3 - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Kadeem Kones(10 - 11 - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Kaptich and Kones weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon Cassam, and the three ringside judges are Sam Konchellah, Rehan Abed and Matt Kanyoro.
