David Burns vs Azam Baksh

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Scotland promoted show at Ken Argall Gym, Glasgow,  taking place on 22/07/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Scotland Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Burns (9 - 4 - 1) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Azam Baksh(15(3) - 0) from Glasgow, UK.  Burns weighed in at 139 pounds and 8 ounces, while Baksh weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bruce McBeth, and the three ringside judges are William Cooper, Joseph Menelaws and William Owen.
