Boxing Daily Report from the Simwala Promotions promoted show at Oregon State Fair & Expo Center Cascade Hall, Salem,  taking place on 04/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-North Carolina Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joey Govan (9 - 8(1) - 3) who hails from Charlotte, USA and Gareth Kelman(1 - 4) from Charlotte, USA.  Both Govan and Kelman weighed in at 200 pounds.
