Joo-ho Lee vs Rashid Wardi

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Empire City Casino, Yonkers,  taking place on 28/08/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the WRBA Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joo-ho Lee (23(16) - 1) who hails from Hwaseong, South Korea and Rashid Wardi(15 - 4(1)) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Lee weighed in at 147 pounds, while Wardi weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Matthew Cumbie, and the three ringside judges are Peter Gatti, Daniel Leask and Davie Cleary.  

Round 1: 

Lee steps inside.  Wardi tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.
