Charlie Handley vs David Chalmers

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Iowa promoted show at Veterans Memorial Stadium, Cedar Rapids,  taking place on 01/08/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a tournament fight from USA-Iowa Middleweigh.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Charlie Handley (3 - 2 - 1) who hails from Des Moines, USA and David Chalmers(4 - 14 - 4) from Chicago, USA.  Handley weighed in at 159 pounds and 8 ounces, while Chalmers weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bryan Hathorne, and the three ringside judges are Brad Bee, Paul Noble and John Idle.
