Govind Badal vs Robert Phi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Federal Territory promoted show at Kuala Lumpur Suleiman, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 23/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia-Federal Territory Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Govind Badal (13 - 0) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Robert Phi(14 - 4) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Badal weighed in at 112 pounds, while Phi weighed in at 111 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Saad Zogby, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Sinai, Haider Amir and Gazi Sinai.
