Joaquin Bustillos vs Cruz Triana

Boxing Daily Report from the Bungu Promotions promoted show at Reynosa Lastra, Reynosa,  taking place on 26/07/2026:

Clearly Bungu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Bustillos (12 - 5) who hails from Reynosa, Mexico and Cruz Triana(9 - 6 - 3) from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.  Both Bustillos and Triana weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dario Zepeda, and the three ringside judges are Juan Alvarez, Alejandro Rebolledo and Agapetus Llorente.
