Theophilus Ottiji vs Obafemi Izobo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Oyo State promoted show at Ibadan Kyari, Ibadan,  taking place on 24/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Oyo State Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Theophilus Ottiji (7 - 1 - 1) who hails from Ogbomosho, Nigeria and Obafemi Izobo(5 - 6 - 1) from Ogbomosho, Nigeria.  Both Ottiji and Izobo weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Chahine, and the three ringside judges are Elderson Bunu, Jay-Jay Ameobi and Chigozie Fregene.
