Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Waitakere Mollison, Waitakere,  taking place on 27/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jamie Mungle (13 - 8) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Ian Weir(9 - 4 - 3) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Mungle weighed in at 134 pounds and 4 ounces, while Weir weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is George Brain, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Telford, George Brain and Colin Lawder.
