Odion Adedeji vs Godfrey Asuquo

Boxing Daily Report from the Chileshe Promotions promoted show at Nigeria-Edo State Gym, Benin City,  taking place on 27/07/2026:

Clearly Chileshe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Edo State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Odion Adedeji (7 - 3) who hails from Benin City, Nigeria and Godfrey Asuquo(3 - 6(1) - 2) from Benin City, Nigeria.  Both Adedeji and Asuquo weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Okri, and the three ringside judges are Akeem Kabokeme, Godfrey Adejobi and Akeem Kabokeme.
