Amer Salame vs Obafemi Ararume

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Rivers State promoted show at Port Harcourt Bethel, Port Harcourt,  taking place on 27/07/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Rivers State Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amer Salame (13 - 8) who hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria and Obafemi Ararume(15 - 1 - 1) from Port Harcourt, Nigeria.  Salame weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces, while Ararume weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bature Isangedighe, and the three ringside judges are Zafa Saladin, Godfrey Olorundare and Zafa Saladin.
