Daiki Kita vs Brett Leary

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at University of the Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 01/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Daiki Kita (15 - 4(1)) who hails from Chiba, Japan and Brett Leary(8 - 3 - 3) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Kita and Leary weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tobias Bruce, and the three ringside judges are Rob Gollon, Oliver Mullane and John Wark.  

Round 1: 

Leary advances into close range.  Kita digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kita snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.
