Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Festival Hall, Melbourne,  taking place on 03/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Peter McNeeley (2 - 0) who hails from Sunshine Coast, Australia and Haider Rayes(3 - 0) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both McNeeley and Rayes weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sammy Lorimer, and the three ringside judges are Paul Lawrie, Mark Givan and Mark Givan.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to McNeeley.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.
