Matthew McCormick vs Ian Zheng

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at RDS Arena, Dublin,  taking place on 15/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the IRBF Youth Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matthew McCormick (16(2) - 3) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Ian Zheng(18 - 1(1)) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Both McCormick and Zheng weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roy Spalding, and the three ringside judges are Joshua MacCarthy, Bradley MacGinnis and Joshua McColl.
