Manny Capote vs Juan Mero

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Casino de Mendoza, Mendoza,  taking place on 09/08/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Manny Capote (11 - 0) who hails from Córdoba, Argentina and Juan Mero(5 - 12 - 2) from La Plata, Argentina.  Capote weighed in at 115 pounds, while Mero weighed in at 114 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Oihane Millian, and the three ringside judges are Cipriano Nepomuceno, Fraco Nieto and Oihane Millian.  

Round 1: 

Capote steps inside.  Capote lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.
