Rehman Fayad vs Waqar Mahmoud

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Dubai promoted show at Dubai Zickby, Dubai,  taking place on 02/07/2026:

Clearly AI UAE-Dubai have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the UAE Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Abu Dhabi Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rehman Fayad (6 - 7 - 3) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Waqar Mahmoud(8 - 5 - 1) from Dubai, UAE.  Both Fayad and Mahmoud weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waleed Bacchus, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Habkouk, Adnan Zawahiri and Farhan Akif.
