Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Jonathan Club, Los Angeles,  taking place on 13/07/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are James Nurse (0 - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Chris Carrothers(2 - 2) from Overland Park, USA.  Both Nurse and Carrothers weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is William Shawn, and the three ringside judges are Rob Fulton, Clinton Proffitt and Khalid Shaikh.

Carrothers tries to land a jab, but Nurse dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.

Carrothers backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Nurse tries to tag Carrothers on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Nurse digs in a left hook to Carrothers's body.  
Carrothers gets on the inside.  As Carrothers tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nurse dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Carrothers gets on the inside.  Nurse lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Nurse tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.
