Davie Bryars vs Bassett Carol

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Count Promotions promoted show at Anfield Stadium, Liverpool,  taking place on 01/08/2026:

Clearly Ten Count Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Commonwealth Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Davie Bryars (23(10) - 4(2) - 1) who hails from Plymouth, UK and Bassett Carol(13 - 2(1) - 1 - 1(NC)) from Bamenda, Cameroon.  Both Bryars and Carol weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Goodlet, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Hyland, Cody Biggs and Kieran Saunders.
