Aleksandr Garaev vs Sergey Najafov

Boxing Daily Report from the Pungwayo Promotions promoted show at Dushanbe Hashemi, Dushanbe,  taking place on 29/07/2026:

Clearly Pungwayo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Tajikistan-Dushanbe Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aleksandr Garaev (8 - 9 - 3) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Sergey Najafov(6 - 4 - 1) from Dushanbe, Tajikistan.  Both Garaev and Najafov weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Toghrul Azimzade, and the three ringside judges are Vurghun Suleimanov, Safar Gadzhiev and Ramid Abbas.
