Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Istanbul promoted show at Istanbul Altan, Istanbul,  taking place on 01/08/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NTV Spor, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mehmed Cos (16 - 3(1)) who hails from Gaziantep, Turkey and Oz Guney(16 - 3(1)) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Both Cos and Guney weighed in at 147 pounds.
