Hiroki Ichikawa vs Michi Kusumoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Yokohama Hora, Yokohama,  taking place on 01/08/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Kanagawa Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hiroki Ichikawa (18 - 5 - 1) who hails from Sagamihara, Japan and Michi Kusumoto(10 - 4 - 4) from Yokohama, Japan.  Ichikawa weighed in at 114 pounds And 10 ounces, while Kusumoto weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hajime Takagi, and the three ringside judges are Taro Ike, Hisoka Shimomura and Hiro Sonoda.
