Jin-su Ok vs Jin-su Hwang

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Korea-North Chungcheong promoted show at Cheongju Moon, Cheongju,  taking place on 01/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Korea-North Chungcheong Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports Korea, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jin-su Ok (12 - 9(1) - 6) who hails from Chungju, South Korea and Jin-su Hwang(14 - 1 - 3) from Cheongju, South Korea.  Both Ok and Hwang weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dong-won Koo, and the three ringside judges are Ki-hun Yoh, Keun-ho Kook and Heung-Min Rhee.  

Round 1: 

Hwang voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Ok steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
