Quico Almonte vs Paco Ponciano

Boxing Daily Report from the Joram Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Yepes, Montevideo,  taking place on 30/07/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uruguay-Montevideo Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quico Almonte (16 - 2) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Paco Ponciano(9 - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Almonte and Ponciano weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montego Civil, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Pecha, Javier Casto and Ramirez Barquero.
