Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Walter Pyramid, Long Beach,  taking place on 04/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are John Wight (2 - 0) who hails from New Orleans, USA and Robert Cloyd(11 - 12 - 2) from Portland, USA.  Both Wight and Cloyd weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Darling, and the three ringside judges are Barry Maxton, John Rhydderch and James Ruan.
