Shayan Asher vs Amer Namjoo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Dubai promoted show at Rehan Rais Gym, Dubai,  taking place on 02/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the UAE-Dubai Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shayan Asher (8 - 2 - 1) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Amer Namjoo(10 - 7) from Dubai, UAE.  Both Asher and Namjoo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Syed Aman, and the three ringside judges are Ali Ayub, Obaid Awan and Obaid Awan.  

Round 1: 

Namjoo gets on the inside.  Namjoo pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Namjoo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Namjoo lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Namjoo lands a right hook to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Asher lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.

Namjoo cuts off the ring, trapping Asher in the red corner.  Asher lands a left hook.
